Fairfield, Conn., University Adds Ethics Classes to Business Degree.

Mar. 11--FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield University's MBA degree is getting leaner and more focused.

Starting this fall, the university's master's of business administration program is being reworked to put it in line with other schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

The major will now also require students to take business law and an ethics course.

"In the current business climate, when we discussed it with faculty, they thought this is an area where students would be advantaged," said Norman Solomon, dean of Fairfield's Dolan School of Business.
