Utility Holding Firm Sierra Pacific Resources Improves Customer Satisfaction.

Mar. 12--Sierra Pacific Resources, the holding company for Nevada Power Co. and Sierra Pacific Power Co., moved up in rankings for business customer satisfaction from a year ago, a survey by J.D. Power and Associates shows.
J.D. Power of Westlake Village, Calif., rated Sierra Pacific close to the average for business customer satisfaction among Western electric utilities in a survey released Wednesday.
A year ago, Sierra ranked second from the bottom for satisfaction among midsize business customers. Only San Diego Gas & Electric did worse.
