Author Stephen Covey Tells Long Beach, Calif., Firms to Form Clear Goals.

Mar. 12--LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Less than half of American workers are committed to their company's goals, and the main reason for that is many workers don't even know what those goals are, according to a survey by FranklinCovey, a time management company.
Such statistics drove discussions at a two-day planning conference aboard the Queen Mary on Thursday and Friday that included an address from Stephen R. Covey, vice chairman of FranklinCovey and author of "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People."
