New Colorado Group Aims to Help Corporate Leaders Follow Best Practices.

Mar. 27--One of the newest chapters of the National Association of Corporate Directors is rooted in this region's high-tech community, and it hopes to attract directors from all industries in its quest to improve boardroom behavior.

The Colorado chapter will host its first meeting, regarding Sarbanes-Oxley, on April 13.

"Board directors are responsible for public trust, for the shareholders' trust. They have fiduciary responsibilities, and the time it takes to respond to those has quadrupled.
