Mar. 29--So I've got this Sony DSC-F828, and it's a lot of camera. It's not the slim sort of digital you slip in your pocket. It's the hefty sort you hang around your neck.
Frankly, it's too much camera for me.
I would need to take a photography class before I could give the thing a thorough feature-by-feature review. The 8-megapixel F828 ($1,000) is massive and very complicated, similar in design to the 35-millimeter cameras some pros use. So why did I even take a look?
Because the F828 and its competitors -- cameras like the lauded Canon EOS 300-D -- are the future.
