Indiana Plans to Drop National Worker's Comp Administrator.

Mar. 27--State officials are planning to end Indiana's relationship with a troubled national firm that helps provide worker's compensation coverage for companies that otherwise couldn't buy insurance.
The insurance pays workers who are injured on the job.
The Indiana Compensation Rating Bureau board voted this month to replace the National Council on Compensation Insurance Holdings Inc. with another firm.
The national council, a not-for-profit based in Boca Raton, Fla., administers the National Workers Compensation Reinsurance Pool. The council through the pool acts as the bookkeeper, in essence, for Indiana and 20 other states -- keeping track of the...
