Revenue Not Meeting Expectations for Beaumont, Texas, Hockey Arena Management.

Mar. 30--BEAUMONT, Texas -- Professional ice hockey in Southeast Texas has proven to be a popular entertainment option for fans, groups and families.
But it hasn't generated the kind of revenue that SMG, the management firm running the county's Ford Park, originally projected.
Net income from hockey is about 70 percent below the projected numbers, despite the fact that attendance at Wildcatters games has actually been higher than expected.
As a result, Jefferson County is making much less money than anticipated and previously reported for each hockey game.
