Apr. 5--FISH EATERY IAN'S TO OPEN SECOND OUTLET IN RIO: Eric and Paula Grutka, proprietors of Ian's Tropical Grill in Fort Pierce, are just about to fulfill one of their long-term goals.
The Grutkas are opening a second outlet of their upscale fish restaurant at 1250 N.E. Dixie Highway in Rio in the next two weeks. They've invested a little under $100,000 to remodel and lease the 1,800-square-foot space for the restaurant.
Next door, they also have 800 square feet of space for a wine shop. The new Ian's is decorated with mosquito nets, bamboo and wooden fixtures so it offers "a good island feel," Eric Grutka said.
