Illinois-Based Dot Foods to Open Ardmore, Okla., Distribution Center.

Apr. 7--Ardmore soon will be home to an $11.7 million dollar distribution center for Illinois-based Dot Foods Inc.

The company bought the former Best Buy Return Center at 3211 Cypert Way in New Horizons Industrial Park and plans to add 60,000 square feet to the existing 121,00-square-foot site. Construction should start in May, said Jim Tracy, senior vice president for the Mount Sterling, Ill.-based, family-owned company.

Dot projects an initial employment of 60 people, increasing to more than 150 by the end of three years. The company will begin hiring truck drivers for the Ardmore distribution area within 30 days. Warehouse and office staff will be hired...
