Apr. 8--Officials at NYFIX Inc. headquarters in Stamford expect to file their delayed annual report with the Securities and Exchange Commission, allowing the company to rid its ticker symbol of the "E" which means that its status is under evaluation by NASDAQ. NASDAQ notified the company April 1 that it has failed to comply with the stock exchange's listing requirements that require its 2003 Form 10-K be filed with the SEC on time.
NYFIX's delay in filing results from the company's discussions with the SEC's Division of Corporation Finance regarding the company's accounting for its investment in and acquisition of its 80 percent-owned subsidiary, NYFIX Millennium...
