Apr. 11--Age keeps catching up to Don Keough.
Then, somehow, he slips away.
Now 77, the legendary former president of Coca-Cola has been officially retired for 11 years. His age has cost him voting positions on a string of corporate boards, from McDonald's to Home Depot.
Even the University of Notre Dame, a beneficiary of millions of his dollars, ended Keough's voting authority as a trustee because of his age.
But Keough doesn't quit.
The man who taught his kids that work is a great adventure, the man who defined much of his life by a string of powerful jobs at Coke, is back on the company's board and fully reinstalled as a key figure....
