Shareholders of San Diego-Based Peregrine Systems Target Former Chairman.

Apr. 10--Lawyers for Peregrine Systems shareholders moved this week to revive fraud allegations against San Diego Padres owner John Moores, who was the company's longtime chairman and majority shareholder until he resigned last year.

In December, a federal judge dismissed Moores as a defendant in a lawsuit alleging fraud over Peregrine's investor losses.

The ruling by Judge Napoleon A. Jones found that shareholders' lawyers had failed to cite enough specific information to tie Moores and other directors to particular acts of fraud.
