Apr. 11--Jerry Saunders has joined Independence Bank as vice president and senior trust officer. He is an attorney and a certified trust financial adviser with more than 30 years' experience. He most recently was vice president and trust specialist at BB&T.
Saunders is a graduate of Emory University, the University of Illinois Law School and the University of Illinois Graduate School of Banking. He is a member of the Owensboro Estate Planning Council, the Foundation for Health and the Daviess County Public Library Foundation.
