Apr. 12--BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Heitink Veneers, a rapidly growing maker and distributor of high-quality wood veneer products, has been named the Quality Employer for March by the Bloomington Economic Development Corp.
The company at 1150 Sunrise Greeting Court northwest of Bloomington was founded in 1983 by Gerrit Heitink of the Netherlands. Last year, the firm embarked on a $1.2 million expansion of its facilities.
The new building expansion will give the company 50,000 square feet of space to make the veneer facing for high quality, architectural door and panel, kitchen cabinet and plywood firms. Heitink's products can be found in hotels, offices,...
