Qwest Communications' Web Site Tells Customers How to Avoid Phone Scams.

Apr. 14--Qwest Communications International, which faced past charges of slamming and cramming, has launched a Web site with information on how consumers can avoid common telephone and Internet scams. By visiting www.qwest.com and clicking on "customer protection," consumers can read descriptions of the 10 most common fraudulent schemes, how to guard against them and how to file complaints if you suspect you are a victim.
