Nevada Utility Lawsuit Targets State Agency Employees.

Apr. 14--Attorneys for Colorado River Commission staff members who were sued by Nevada Power Co. over alleged energy market manipulation may ask a federal judge to dismiss the lawsuit.
James Salo, special assistant to the commission's executive director, made the comment Tuesday during a commission meeting at the Sawyer Building.
Salo said that the state will pay private attorneys to represent the commission staff members who were sued by Nevada Power Co. They are George Caan, executive director; Gale Bates, deputy director; Bill Miller, power supply manager; and Tim Clemens, Miller's former assistant.
