Power Supplies Will Meet Needs This Summer, Nevada Official Says.

Apr. 24--Southern Nevadans might see temperatures slightly above normal this summer, but there should be adequate electricity capacity to meet demand unless there are unusual conditions, officials from the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, Nevada Power Co. and others said.
The California Independent System Operator, which oversees the electric transmission system in the Golden State, said Thursday that it hopes to satisfy power demand during the summer ahead even while they raised concerns that energy supplies may be tight.
