Summer Float Beckons for Google, Virgin Mobile.

Apr. 27--Investors' appetites are being whetted for a slew of long-awaited stock market flotations this summer.

Share offerings from search engine Google and Richard Branson's Virgin Mobile are expected to get off the ground in the next few weeks.

Google has appointed Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse to advise it on an UKpound 11 billion float. It may press the button this week.

Virgin Mobile is weeks away from announcing whether it will push ahead with a UKpound 1 billion flotation.
