Apr. 30--It's been the last bastion of the boom times -- the one bright spot in a mediocre national economy. And the housing industry is likely to continue to be strong in 2004, analysts say.

But fortunately for builders, they will no longer have to go it alone.

With the rest of the economy perking up, builders are betting that their business will be even more prosperous this year.
