Apr. 30--Dr. Steven C. Samuels of Ridgewood has been appointed medical director of behavioral health services at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Englewood. Samuels is a geriatric psychiatrist specializing in community mental health. He received his medical degree from the University of Buffalo, and pursued further study at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center, and at the University of Pennsylvania. Before coming to Englewood Hospital, he held numerous psychiatric positions at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
