May 3--DUBAI HOTELS ADDING 11,770 ROOMS: According to research by The Consulting House, a new Dubai hotel consultancy, there are 31 new five and four-star hotels either being built or confirmed for future construction in Dubai, with a total of 11,770 rooms and suites, plus 1,305 apartments. This is in addition to at least 100 other hotels planned at The Palm, Jebel Ali and Dubailand, for which details are unconfirmed.
