University's College of Medicine to Relocate to Hospital in Philadelphia.

May 7--The closure of the MCP Hospital campus drew closer yesterday as the psychiatry department of the Drexel University College of Medicine announced that it was pulling up stakes and relocating to Friends Hospital in Northeast Philadelphia by July 1.
Tenet Healthcare Corp., the owner of the Medical College of Pennsylvania Hospital, has promised to keep open the facility until June 30. The company and the staffs of Gov. Rendell and U.S. Sen Arlen Specter (R., Pa.) are trying to pick from among four bidders who want to run the MCP Hospital after Tenet leaves.
Susan Anderson, who is heading the governor's effort, said yesterday that no bidder has been chosen...
