May 10--TRADITION OPTIMISTIC ABOUT 2 BIG EMPLOYERS: Officials at the Tradition community west of Interstate 95 in St. Lucie County say they're still in the running for two major employer prospects.
"We have every expectation sooner or later we will land a major employer in this area," said Pete Hegener, president of Core Communities, Tradition's developer.
Tradition remains a contender to hook a Fortune 50 company that would employ 1,000 people, said Hegener, who declined to disclose specifics.
