Administrative Law Judge Halts Plea to Stop Greensboro, N.C., FedEx Cargo Hub.

May 11--HIGH POINT, N.C. -- An administrative law judge shot down a request to stop the FedEx cargo-hub project yesterday, arguing yesterday that critics had not proven that the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority was improperly constructing the hub.
However, administrative law judge Beecher Gray questioned whether the authority's storm-water management systems were sufficient.
After a day-long hearing, Gray ruled against a motion filed by hub critics that argued that the authority should not have been issued a state water-quality permit from the North Carolina Division of Water Quality.
