These were exhibits during this past week's U.S. Coast Guard Innovation Expo at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center.

In the post Sept. 11 world, the Coast Guard is becoming the nation's maritime counterterrorist squad. It is the last line of defense along the 95,000 square miles of American coastline.
