Wichita, Kan.-Based Banks to Merge under Southwest National Bank Name.

May 14--Southwest National Bank of Wichita and Twin Lakes National Bank are merging and will take the Southwest name.
There will be no job losses or branch closings, said Trish Minard, president of Twin Lakes National Bank and president of the newly merged bank.
Both Wichita-based banks are owned by Republic Financial Corp., a Wichita bank holding company owned by V. Jerry Blue of Wichita.
"This really allows our bank to expand and add branches without additional costs that could lead to additional fees," Minard said. "It's all good."
The combined bank will have seven locations.
