Thai Property Firm Land & Houses Seeks to Maintain 20 Percent Growth Goal.

May 18--Property market leader Land & Houses Plc says it will maintain its 20 percent sales growth target this year despite a drop in housing sales in the first quarter and an expected rise in interest rates in the coming months.
"We're confident in the promising property business as demand is still there and the market has room to grow. But the decline in property sales in the first quarter was because of the psychological impact caused by uncontrollable factors such as the violence in the South and rising oil prices," said Naporn Sunthornchitcharoen, the company's senior executive vice-president.
