More Raleigh, N.C.-Area Drivers Begin to Use Global Positioning Systems.

May 19--When Andrea Bigelow and her husband wanted to visit a new restaurant in Durham, they didn't bother with a map. They didn't call or go online for directions.

The retired Raleigh couple simply typed the address into their Honda Satellite-Link Navigation System inside their 2003 Accord and off they went.

"It took us right to the door," Bigelow said. The Bigelows ordered the $2,000 feature with their new car to help plan trips.

They're among the growing number of people who have vehicles with a Global Positioning System installed. Once a feature exclusive to luxury cars, such systems are increasingly found in midprice cars.
