May 21--Bob Vigeland, a Texas Christian University accounting professor, has been named temporary dean of the M.J. Neeley School of Business by Chancellor Victor Boschini.
Vigeland has been at TCU since 1989. He will assume his new duties June 1 but said he expects a permanent dean to be named in time for him to return to teaching in the fall.
Robert Lusch, the business dean since 1999, told TCU last year that he would leave at the end of May to become head of the marketing department at the University of Arizona business school. The committee searching for a permanent dean is headed by Gregory Stephens, chairman of the management department.
