Elma, N.Y.-Based Aerospace Firm Moog Inc. Wins Work on New Boeing Jet.

May 25--Moog Inc. has won the contract to make the primary flight control actuation system for Boeing Co.'s new 7E7 Dreamliner commercial jet, the Elma aerospace company said Wednesday.

The value of the contract wasn't disclosed, but Moog executives said the deal, combined with its work on the Air Force's Joint Strike Fighter, means the company will supply the flight control actuation systems for the two major American-made commercial and military jets now under development.

"I think that says a lot," said Robert T. Brady, Moog's chairman, president and chief executive officer. "This is a spectacular win."
