Thailand's Largest Car Seat Supplier in 80 Million Baht Expansion.

May 26--SET-listed Chaiwattana Tannery Group, Thailand's largest leather car seat supplier, plans to invest 80 million baht next year to expand its production capacity, according to executive vice-president Weerapon Chaiteerath.

The additional capacity would make the company one of the biggest suppliers in Asia within three years. However, it declined to give output figures until it has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

The company is negotiating with two prospective strategic partners, Summit Auto Seat owned by the Jungrungreangkit family, and Thai Rung Union Cars. Both are the company's customers.
