Homeland Security Official Says Manufacturers' Know-How Helps Fight Terror.

May 27--The ingenuity of Lehigh Valley businesses can help the U.S. government and military win the war on terror, Bethlehem native and homeland security official Paul McHale said Wednesday.
McHale, assistant secretary of defense for homeland defense, spoke at a Lehigh University business seminar focused on government contracting.
He said small, local businesses across the United States can help develop better protective suits, weapons, communications systems and other tools to help American soldiers fight terrorism around the world.
"They will provide the courage," he said. "You must provide the equipment."
