Lexington, Ky.-Area Utilities to Offer Energy Audits.

May 29--Summer's not yet here, but already the hum of air-conditioning units can be heard.

That's why Kentucky Utilities and Louisville Gas & Electric are offering energy audits to educate their customers on ways to conserve energy.

"Our main goal is to help our customers understand how they use energy and ways they can save it," said Shirley Campbell, residential program manager at Louisville Gas & Electric.

The audits are available to businesses free of charge, as well as to homes for $15.
