BAE Systems Wins $100 Million Turkish Military Contract.

Jun. 2--NASHUA, N.H. -- BAE Systems has won a $100 million Turkish military contract to develop an integrated self-protection system for Turkish fighter jets, the company announced Monday.
Under the contract, development and delivery of hardware and related software for the AN/ALQ-178(V)5 Electronic Warfare systems will be provided for Turkey's "Block 50" version of its F-16 "Fighting Falcon" aircraft.
The Turkish Ministry of National Defense, undersecretary for defense industries and the Turkish Air Force chose BAE as the key subcontractor to MiKES Inc., which is a subcontractor to ASELSAN, Inc. Both ASELSAN and MiKES are Turkish Defense Industry...
