Rutgers University's Leadership Continues to Take Shape.

Jun. 4--A wave of resignations and retirements has washed across Rutgers' central administration, some 18 months after university President Richard L. McCormick took office.
James Flanagan, vice president for research and director of Rutgers' Center for Advanced Information Processing, plans to retire in September, heralding the ninth leadership change since McCormick arrived.
Flanagan came to Rutgers in 1990 after 30 years managing research at AT&T Bell Laboratories and was appointed vice president in 1993 by former Rutgers President Francis L. Lawrence.
