Beijing's Auto Show Grows with Market.

Jun. 10--BEIJING--The Beijing auto show, like the rest of China's auto industry, is growing rapidly.

On a walkthrough of the show floor Wednesday, Phil Murtaugh, chairman and CEO of General Motors China Group, said this year's event is "40 years ahead" of the first Auto China show he attended. He has worked in China for eight years.

For the first time this year, the show allowed suppliers such as Robert Bosch GmbH and Valeo , which soon will open its first technical center in China, to install displays, which put space at a premium.
