Vodafone Pays CEO UKpound 1 Million to Leave San Francisco for United Kingdom.

Jun. 11--Vodafone paid almost UKpound 1 million to move chief executive Arun Sarin and his family from San Francisco to Berkshire.

Sarin's bumper UKpound 969,000 relocation package covered legal expenses, stamp duty and removals.

He picked up UKpound 835,000 of it this year as part of a UKpound 3.2 million pay package for heading the mobile phone giant. It includes basic pay of UKpound 1.1 million plus a UKpound 1.2 million bonus to be taken in cash or shares.
