Internet 'Supernode' Is almost Ready at Norfolk, Va., University.

Jun. 12--NORFOLK, Va. -- The supernode that would supply wireless Internet capabilities to Norfolk State University and its surrounding area is expected to be completed and available for use by July 1, NSU President Marie McDemmond said Friday.
The Virginia division of Pennsylvania telecommunications company TelCove Inc. will provide the fiber optic network for the supernode and the entire RISE Center site, which, upon completion, will consist of a communications research center and corporate park.
