SEC Sues Two Dallas Fund-Management Executives.

Jun. 17--The Securities and Exchange Commission has sued two executives of a Dallas company that managed three hedge funds, accusing them of misleading investors about the value of their holdings.

The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Dallas, alleges that Conrad P. Seghers of Garland, co-founder of Integral Management LP, overstated assets by as much as $8.5 million from June through November 2000.

One of the investors in the funds was the Art Institute of Chicago, which has also sued the hedge funds in a Dallas state district court. The SEC suit says that based on Mr. Seghers' representation, the Art Institute invested $22.5 million in a fund called...
