Jun. 17--WEDGWOOD CRASHES UKPOUND 45 MILLION INTO THE RED: Waterford Wedgwood plunged into the red in the year to 31 March amid falling sales of crystal, ceramics and cookware. The group made a pre-tax loss of UKpound 44.9 million against a UKpound 7.2 million profit last time. The weak dollar and a UKpound 36.5 million exceptional restructuring charge had a major impact.
