Talks between Southwest Airlines, Union Continue.

Jun. 22--Talks between Dallas-based Southwest Airlines Co. and negotiators for the Transport Workers Union Local 556 continued Monday without resolution on a new contract for 7,000 flight attendants at the airline.

The two sides resumed talks after four daylong sessions last week that the union called intense.

An airline spokeswoman said the talks were continuing, but she had no further update.

Union officials didn't return calls for comment but told members through a hotline update that the two sides remain apart on pay issues.
