Outsourcing Links 2 EDS Workers in Mexico.

Jun. 22--CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico -- Jorge Sanudo thought he knew what his future held.

The Juarez native planned to earn his computer science degree in Mexico and find work in the United States. That's what many graduates before him had done, because they wanted to use their skills to earn a comfortable living.

"Back then I would have told you, 'There's no way I'm staying here,' " Sanudo said.

Veronica Diaz, who grew up in Juarez, also majored in computer science. But she couldn't find a job in her chosen field and ended up working at a department store.

"There were not a lot of opportunities for software engineers," she said.
