University of Arizona faculty to form genetic engineering firm.

Jun. 24--Two University of Arizona microbiologists are forming a new company to commercialize UA-patented technology designed to improve emerging, gene-based treatments for cancer and other diseases.
David T. Harris, a UA professor of microbiology and immunology, and assistant research scientist Tom C. Tsang are in the process of incorporating Genetic Engineering Tools Inc.
The pair's financial interest in the company is expected to be approved by the Arizona Board of Regents at its monthly meeting today in Flagstaff.
