Pratt & Whitney names head of space, Russian operations.

Jun. 25--For the second time in less than a year, Pratt & Whitney Space and Russian Operations has changed top management.
Joe Adams has been named president of Pratt's operation near West Palm Beach replacing Walter Bylciw. Bylciw is retiring in July after a 47-year career at Pratt, the company said.
Adams most recently led engineering for Pratt's manufacturing operation of jet engines at Pratt's headquarters in East Hartford, Conn.
Until October 2003, Pratt's space operation had been led by Larry Knauer. After Knauer resigned to look for opportunities elsewhere, according to Pratt, Bylciw was brought in from Connecticut. Bycliw had headed...
