Jun. 27--They beckon from the pages of the fashion magazines.
Those bronzed beauties with the long, flowing hair and the barely there bikinis.
They look so carefree, as if they've spent days relaxing on a Caribbean island.
Nowadays, thanks to tanning beds and sunless tanners, just about anyone can buy that tropical-vacation look.
And oh boy, do we buy.
About 29.5 million people tan indoors, according to Looking Fit, a trade magazine of the National Tanning Training Institute. Sunless tanners are now as common on drugstore shelves as sunblock.
