Jul. 1--DENMARK, S.C. -- From police horses to hospital helicopters, approximately 200 people including second graders, college students and faculty members explored careers available in the transportation industry during a program held Tuesday at Denmark Technical College.
The event was the college's 2004 Summer Transportation Institute EXPO. Twenty different types of transportation were on display with representatives on hand to explain each vehicle, its uses and the jobs available in that industry.
