University of Oregon faces possible enrollment crunch.

Jul. 6--State budget cuts haven't forced the University of Oregon to turn away qualified students this year, as has happened in Washington state, but officials worry that a coming rise in the number of high school graduates could push enrollment beyond what funding will support. While universities in Washington and California have had to turn away qualified applicants due to a lack of funding, the UO has room this fall for everyone who met admission standards and most of those who fell just short of the mark.
