Jul. 6--NEW MOTEL WILL FEATURE SUITES FOR LONGER STAYS: Land has been purchased off Mel Browning Street, near the Fairfield and Microtel inns, for a new, upper-class, all-suite, extended-stay facility, according to a press release from Bimal Patel, a company associated with Creative Lodging Solutions of Lexington.

The name for the hotel will be determined in about 30 days, and construction at the site will begin within the next three months. The hotel should be finished eight to 10 months after construction begins.

The hotel suites will feature full kitchens, free wired and wireless high-speed Internet, TVs, DVD players and cable television, ironing boards, coffee...
