Jul. 9--As it looks to fill its suddenly vacant top spot, Miami-based Burger King Corp. may be eyeing a man with as many rumored pairings as J.Lo.

A story in Advertising Age magazine speculates that Greg Brenneman, former president and chief operating officer of Houston-based Continental Airlines Inc., is a leading candidate to replace displaced chief executive Brad Blum.

It's the latest report linking the turnaround guru to a potential key slot at a major U.S. company.
