Jul. 12--Memphis-based sports agent Brian Parker, who has tapped into the wealth of football talent in the southeastern United States, now has a more national reach.
Parker and San Diego-based agent Jack Bechta have formed Bechta & Parker LLC.
The two agents have more than 30 active NFL clients and have negotiated more than $180 million in NFL contracts.
"It gives us both an extra set of eyes and an extra brain," said Parker, 28, who will remain in Memphis. "I've never tapped into the resources available on the West Coast, and Jack's never ventured down here to the Southeast."
